Led by the Senior Nursing Class, the Freshmen and Senior Classes at Ohio Valley College of Technology collected a very impressive mountain of gifts that will benefit children in our community. The idea for the community service effort was inspired by Sociology Instructor, Alicia Warrick and led by Senior Nursing Student, Tesla Cooper. The group provided Christmas wish-list gifts for over 30 children, which included gifts such as bicycles and even an X-Box One. 2020 may not have been the best year for many, but, thanks to these generous nursing students, many children in our area will be smiling this year. OVCT students include, from left, Melanie Adams, Tesla Cooper, Richard DeLeon, Kristen Bean, Tiffany Chilton, Trent Young, Lauren Rupp, and Justin Behanna.
