From the editorial: "The gathering remains a bit of an odd thing, really, with hundreds of Northlanders driving two hours down I-35 to largely talk to each other and to set up home show-style booths to tout their businesses, schools, and more. Odd or not, though, enough legislators and state leaders also participate, coupled with a sheer volume of Duluth-area advocacy ... to make the event an effective and winning endeavor, year after year."
