Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives investigate Holland Twp. gun fight

HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A rolling gun battle among people in three vehicles is being investigated by Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives. Some bullets hit an occupied home near Beeline and James streets, but no one was hurt, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
The shooting started just after 7 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021, and Knott indicated witnesses saw three vehicles traveling south on Beeline approaching James.
The vehicles involved are described as a white Chrysler 300, a dark red or maroon Mini Cooper with a silver stripe along the bottom and a silver or gray Jeep Compass.
