ALLENDALE, MI -- The Ottawa County Democratic Party and others are calling on a controversial Allendale Township planning commissioner to resign after he attended the protest outside the U.S. Capitol earlier this month.
In a statement Thursday, Jan. 28, Ottawa County Democratic Party officials called on planning commissioner and conservative activist Ryan D. Kelley to resign, saying his actions have caused “distrust and outrage” in the Allendale community.
