Lineman from the Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative came to the aid of fellow lineman in Western Oregon when a major ice storm felled hundreds of power lines in Lane County last month.
The work helped restore power to the region serviced by Lane Electric Cooperative, based in Eugene, after ice and snow storms caused significant damage to the area’s power infrastructure leaving over 5,000 households without power, officials said.
