Oshkosh city council OKs plans for Popeyes, storage facility in Shopko

The council on Tuesday also approved plans for True Storage LLC to move forward at 1300 S. Koeller St. The personal storage company will take over the former Shopko location.
At a July 13 Plan Commission meeting, True Storage LLC shared modified plans to meet the commission's requests for the property, including adding more green space and landscaping to a portion of the site that once held a garden. 
The applicant will divide the site into two lots, with the section fronting South Koeller Street to remain vacant for now with plans for future development.
