Twenty-three more virus-related deaths and 728 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Friday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 447,278 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the provisional death count of virus-related deaths is at 8,229, the state health department said on Monday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 233 cases
, the state health department said.
As of Wednesday, 2,500,302 total vaccine doses have been administered and 1,190,280 prime doses have been given by the state. More than 914,100 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.
About 202 Oklahomans are currently in acute care OSDH licensed facilities and four are currently in other types of facilities due to COVID-19.
