Orpo admits cutting family-leave compensation could have negative impact on women

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo (NCP) on Tuesday told YLE that the government’s plan to cut the compensation, which is designed to offset the cost of parenthood to employers, could have a limited negative impact on women. The government plans to make up for the effect with other measures, he assured.
