Orland man killed exiting I-5 at high speeds
A man died after he failed to stop at a stop sign when he exited Interstate 5 and crashed into a dirt embankment and chain-link fence.

ORLAND, Calif. - An Orland man died when his vehicle left the roadway on Saturday evening, according to California Highway Patrol Willows.
38-year-old Eddie Ontiveroz was driving southbound on Interstate 5 when he was exiting the freeway to State Route 32 around 7:05 p.m.
Due to high speeds, Ontiveroz failed to stop at a stop sign at Newville Road and crossed all the lanes of Newville Road.
