Original cost for Tiger Brennan Drive overpass based on 1980s plans, amid cost blowout

The Northern Territory’s Infrastructure Commissioner says plans dating back to the 1980s to upgrade a notorious intersection in Darwin were handed over to a contractor in 2021, before the project suffered numerous cost blowouts.
