Morbi bridge collapse: Gujarat High Court has dismissed the regular bail plea of Jaysukh Patel, CMD of Oreva Group, the prime accused in the October 2022 Morbi suspension bridge collapse that claimed 135 lives. Justice Divyesh Joshi stated, "The application is dismissed," maintaining Patel's incarceration since his surrender in January. Patel faces charges under IPC sections related to culpable homicide, endangering human life, and causing grievous hurt.
