Oregon prison guard alleged to have opened inmates' cells to allow assaults by gang members

State corrections officer Kevin Bowser was fired, and the state has now agreed to pay one former prisoner $135,000 to settle his civil rights suit. Two other prisoners allege similar behavior by Bowser.
