The Oregon Humane Society is hosting a two-day Pet Food Bank to help community members who may be struggling to care for their animals. OHS is partnering with Crossroads Church in Northeast Portland for this event to better serve pet owners who may need to travel via public transportation.
Dog and cat food and other supplies will be available as well as information about other resources in the community for people and animals.
Due to the expected high temperatures, the public is encouraged to keep their pet at home and be prepared for the heat.
