Orangeburg County preps for severe weather
The director for emergency services for the county says the emergency response crew is on stand-by, but residents need to have an emergency plan of action.

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Orangeburg County is expecting heavy rainfall and potentially strong storms starting Thursday.
"As events unfold, we will respond to the emergencies as needed, make sure the public monitors the forecast tomorrow, and residents need to make sure they have a plan," said Director of Emergency Services Billy Staley. "Our road crews will be monitoring Our county roads to make sure the drainages are open."
