Opposition demands CM's resignation on Mhadei issue
Panaji, Jan 31 (UNI) The opposition on Sunday demanded resignation of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Mhadei issue.
In a tweet, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat said,'Former Senior Counsel Adv. Arvind Datar reveals that he did not object to notification of Mhadei Award before Supreme Court on clear instructions of @GovtofGoa. The betrayal by @BJP4Goa of Mother Mhadei stands exposed. @INCGoa demands @goacm must step down. #MhadeiJagor.'
Goa Forward Party (GFP) President Viay Sardesai also demanded resignation of the Chief Minister alleging that there was betryal by the government on the issue.
