Opinion: Oregon must invest now in a new Columbia River bridge

Washington lawmakers have committed $1 billion toward a new bridge over the Columbia River and the federal government is poised to provide substantial funding, the leaders of Metro, the Portland Bureau of Transportation, TriMet and Port of Portland write. What's missing, however is a $1 billion investment from Oregon lawmakers so that the state can finally address our need for a new bridge.
