Much criticism has been levelled at Stormont—Dundas—South Glengarry (SDG) MPP Jim McDonell lately by residents as well as local health officials and elected officials. Yet is that criticism warranted?
I’ve always been one to believe a politician’s true colours shine whenever he or she is being put under pressure during an emergency. As the saying goes, “one of the tests of leadership is the ability to recognize a problem before it becomes an emergency.”
