If the world needs a smile, Kyleigh White has one to offer. If the world needs a heart, same. Only 11 years old and poised to enter the sixth grade at Opelika Middle School, Kyleigh White is mature beyond her years. Funny, bright and athletic, Kyleigh White is a hoot. But it's her tender heart that has always impressed. It was days ago when Kyleigh cried. She had learned the news about the ten people dying in that horrific accident on I-65 near Greenville, Alabama. Nine children gone, some younger than she.Kyleigh knew that she had to reach out. Kyleigh White may be 11 years old, but she has a head start in the world of business. Her website, InclusivelyKyleigh.com, sells her homemade key chains; each sporting a positive message: "You Are Specia" and "You Are Loved."Kyleigh talked with her parents TJ and Amber. Why not try to raise $5,000 and send every penny to the Tallapoosa Girls Ranch? The folks needed money for medical expenses, funerals and counseling.Kyleigh got busy making key chains. And her hard work paid off. In 24 hours, the $5,000 goal was reached, and Kyleigh is not done yet.As Kyleigh continues to send money to the ranch, her tender heart is hoping that the money, not to mention a few keychains, will help ease some of the pain that envelops the girls' ranch. Will Kyleigh be looking at a business career in the future? She'd like to be either an anesthesiologist or a policeman like her dad.Until then, this pre-teen will continue to love her family and love her neighbors. Neighbors like the fine folks in Tallapoosa County. And if Kyleigh's kind gesture rubs off on a few adults who may take her cue and give back to those in need? It will be a wonderful thing, and a beautiful lesson. For it was a child that led them.
