In this past year, we've seen clear evidence that the millions of individuals with kidney disease are at much higher risk for contracting the novel coronavirus, being hospitalized, and dying – underscoring just how truly vulnerable this population of Americans is in the face of the ongoing pandemic.
As the Biden administration begins addressing the colossal task ahead, members of the kidney care community hope that the individuals with kidney disease will receive the legislative relief needed to support their health and safety.
