Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan acquires 870,000 acres of U.S. timberland

TORONTO – Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board reportedly paid $650 million to assume the direct ownership of approximately 870,000 acres of loblolly pine forest spread throughout the southern United States.
