Ontario is reporting 1,023 new COVID-19 cases and 6 additional deaths on Monday.
Locally, there are 280 new cases in Toronto, 182 in Peel and 72 in Ottawa.
The province completed over 35,000 tests in the last 24 hour period, down from the nearly 50,000 tests completed a day ago. Testing numbers are typically down early in the week following the weekend.
The drop in testing leads to a bump in the positivity rate, that number up to 3.1 per cent from 2.4 per cent a day ago.
