Out of state online retailers are going to start collecting taxes for purchases you make.
SB 50 was approved in the House today and while online tax collection is already on the books, there was little enforcement.
The money collected will help replenish the state's unemployment compensation trust fund.
Rep Ralph Massullo says this is a relief for small business owners, but Rep Angie Nixon thinks the money should be put to better use.
When the fund is replenished, the money collected would then go to fund a tax cut on commercial rent.
