WAVERLY - A man was shot Sunday after an altercation on Saint Mary's Lane, Waverly, according to Waverly Police. 
The Waverly Police Department was dispatched to the area of 238 Saint Mary's Lane regarding a possible shooting.
Witnesses stated two male subjects were involved in an altercation in the roadway, which led to one of the individuals being shot. When officers arrived in the area, contact was made with the victim, who was identified as Blaine Hubbard III.
Hubbard sustained a gunshot wound in the neck area. 
He was transported to Adena Pike ER by Medicare EMS and was later flown to Grant Medical Center Hospital.
