COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - One person is dead and another is in the custody of the Columbus Police Department after an argument at Waffle House. 
Police Chief Fred Shelton confirmed that the argument between a Waffle House employee and a customer turned fatal around 2 a.m. on Wednesday. 
The 24-hour restaurant is located at 1205 Highway 45 North.
