DeWitt, NY — As more Central New York school districts turned to remote learning to cope with staffing shortages due to the increase in the Covid-19 cases and required quarantines, Christian Brothers Academy officials started brainstorming.
What could they do to avoid being forced to switch to remote learning if they couldn’t find enough substitute teachers? The difficulty finding subs is what forced other schools to close classrooms and go remote.
