PICTURE ROCKS — Nearly five years after a Wolf Township couple was terrorized and brutally beaten by a group of four masked men who invaded their home, state police arrested one of those allegedly involved in the attack.
Sheldon Spotts, believed to be in his 30s, of 343 Old Route 220, Jersey Shore, was arraigned on charges of robbery, two counts each of aggravated and simple assault, one count of kidnapping to facilitate a felony, kidnapping to inflict terror, unlawful restraint, felony theft, burglary, tampering with evidence and felony trespassing.
Spotts and three other men allegedly pre-meditated to burglarize the couple’s home in the 300 block of Yeagle Road on the night of July 7, 2016, with the intention to “steal money and marijuana,” according to court records.
