On Thanksgiving, Boston homeless shelters serve moments of community

Hundreds attended St. Francis House’s annual Thanksgiving meal, which about 30 volunteers helped serve restaurant-style. Similar events are a tradition at neighborhood and homeless-services organizations around the Boston area.
