Representative john Eccles taking a closer look at higher education here in our state, It's a fact finding interim study. You have a goal you want to accomplish, which is higher graduation rates. So you want to bring as many people into a public setting with expertise as possible to get the best ideas you can. So talk about some of the things you hope to find out with this study. What I want to find out is, what a, what barriers do we have that's keeping Oklahoma students from either attending college or graduating college, for example, allowing sophomores to do concurrent enrollment if they test in, how do we get rid of those artificial barriers and make it easier for students to continue their education and get into the workforce? Getting to the bottom of that, he says, could have major implications. We want more opportunity for more kids to be able to grow up and get a good paying job here inside the state of Oklahoma. And we want our companies to stay here in the state of Oklahoma, so we have to continue to develop the workforce. Representative Eckel says he expects the results of the study to come in by november, though the study will be ongoing. He says he'll have a list of proposals to present by the time the new legislative session starts in february. Jason Hackett kOC oh five minutes. Mhm.
