An Oklahoma City police officer was fired from the force following an internal investigation that outlined 10 allegations of misconduct. The 10 allegations listed in a May 14 termination letter against Officer Devin Frazier stem from a crime scene he responded to almost a year ago. On Sept. 15, 2020, Frazier responded to a fight at an apartment complex near 36th Street and Meridian Avenue.According to the report, Frazier responded to the scene where a woman bit part of a man's ear off during a domestic incident. Some of the allegations are that Frazier reportedly used his personal phone to photograph evidence without approval and failed to collect and preserved the detached ear as evidence. The letter goes on to say Frazier inaccurately documented how he used his phone to photograph evidence. Frazier also is accused of exchanging inappropriate messages with an unidentified person. He also reportedly exchanged inappropriate messages with an unidentified person, provided an unauthorized person with information from his work computer and failed to take appropriate action during the crime scene. The letter also says Frazier was speeding in his patrol unit after the incident, going as fast as 115 mph in a 65 mph zone.Police Chief Wade Gourley said Frazier's actions demonstrate a complete lack of integrity and constitute a willful and wanton disregard for the department's core values.Online records show Frazier's wife filed for divorce in February.
