Brittany Zazueta was only a year older than Collin Wiant when the Ohio University pledge died after inhaling a whippet inside his fraternity's off-campus annex house in 2018. But Zazueta didn't remember hearing much about Wiant's death from the leaders of her sorority at Wright State University.
"It was something we were aware of and something that people were talking about, but any introspection didn't last long," said Zazueta, now a 21-year-old senior studying marketing and entrepreneurship.
But when news about the death of Bowling Green State University sophomore Stone Foltz spread across Ohio's college campuses in early March, the discussion changed.
