COLUMBUS, Ohio (FOX19) - The Ohio Department of Transportation is allocating $7 million to help people get to their COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
The money will be distributed among all 88 Ohio counties to help local transit agencies and health departments.
âThis program was really created because we were hearing there is a need from eligible Ohioans who were saying, âWe are eligible, we want the vaccine, but we donât have an automobile or any means of transportation to get us to one of the clinics,ââ ODOT spokesperson Matt Bruning said.
