Ohanaeze Election: Fresh Imeobi holds in Owerri - Daily Post Nigeria

As an atmosphere of confusion continues over the Ohanaeze Ndigbo election, an Imeobi of the Igbo apex organization has been scheduled to hold in Owerri, the Imo State capital, tomorrow, Thursday, December, 31, 2020.
This is coming after a similar one was held in Enugu, chaired by the Ohanaeze President-General, Chief John Nnia Nwodo.
But this time, the Imeobi was convened by Barr. Uche Okwukwu, Ohanaeze Secretary-General, who had earlier described as null and void the Enugu meeting.
Okwukwu insists that according to Ohanaeze constitution, with him lies the power to call for Imeobi. He brushed aside claims that he was on suspension.
