OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWNY) - An Ogdensburg City Council candidate is no longer a candidate.
The St. Lawrence County Board of Elections ruled Ford Street resident Richard Breen’s petition is invalid.
It had 31 signatures on it, but 2 were ruled invalid, leaving him with 29 signatures.
A candidate needs 30 signatures.
This means there won’t be a Democratic primary for council.
