Offshore wind funding opportunities for Gulf of Mexico ports

On July 20, the U.S, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management proposed two wind energy areas in the Gulf of Mexico comprising more than 700,000 acres, one off the coast of Galveston, Texas, and another off the coast of Lake Charles.
