SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport Councilman Jerry Bowman Jr. said all 35 garbage trucks were back on the road Tuesday, Jan. 5.
Your holiday trash will be picked up hopefully by the end of the day Jan. 6, city says
Bowman said all trash routes are expected to be caught up by Wednesday, Jan. 6, as city leaders are working on a plan to help with the trash issue.
“We are going through an RFP process right now bidding out for recycling services again but that will help with a lot of trash that you’re seeing out but definitely I’m looking for that to be taking care of that in the near future,” he said.
