Officials say fog played role in fatal crash in Janesville Tuesday night
Officials believe fog caused a head-on collision that killed a man and sent a woman to the hospital Tuesday night

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Officials believe fog caused a head-on collision that killed a man and sent a woman to the hospital Tuesday night.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office said it happened just before 9 p.m. on the westbound side of Highway 14 at North Newville Road. Officials said the drivers were the only people in each of the cars.
A 55-year-old man died at the scene. The other driver, a 63-year-old woman, is being treated at the hospital for serious injuries. No charges have been filed.
