MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The state Department of Justice identified the three Green Bay Police officers who opened fire on a man who shot three people at a tribal casino complex.
The DOJ issued a news release Friday saying Sgt. Brian Jordan, Officer Makayla Wolfe and Officer Ben Snyder fired on 62-year-old Bruce Pofahl outside the Oneida Nation casino complex in Ashwaubenon earlier this month. Pofahl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jordan is a 21-year veteran with the Green Bay Police Department. Wolfe and Snyder each have been with the department for two years. All three officers have been placed on administrative leave while DOJ continues to investigate the incident.
