Off-duty NYPD officer, 22, is shot and injured in carjacking in Queens while on his way to work

An off-duty cop was shot in the shoulder by two would-be carjackers as he drove to work in Queens on Tuesday night. The officer, who now is in stable condition, is the sixth NYPD cop shot in 2022.
