And joining me to talk about the science behind these extreme weather events is Michael Mann, director of the Earth System Science Center at Penn State University. Appreciate you being here. It really hit me as we were seeing these first flood waters come into Germany last week when the environment minister there said simply, "climate change has come to Germany." To what extent is climate change to blame for what we're seeing in Western Europe?
