EAST HADDAM, CT — (From Biega Funeral Home): Gregory Vincent Lauria, 52, of East Haddam, beloved husband of Kerin (McKenney) Lauria, and father of Matthew Gregory and Joseph David, died peacefully May 21, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.
Greg was born in Hartford, CT. He was the son of the late Vincent Joseph and Marjorie (Hood) Lauria. He was a graduate of Cheshire High School, in Cheshire, CT, received his Bachelor's Degree from St. Michael's College in Burlington, VT and his MBA from Western New England College in Springfield, MA.
He worked his way through college painting houses, was part owner and operator of a car reconditioning business, and a paint salesman for Sherwin Williams.
