Eric Jeffrey Turner
Eric J. Turner, 47, of Tioga St. in Duluth, died Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Duluth April 11, 1973 to Gene and Sandy Turner. Eric made Duluth his residence and was a welder by trade. He loved spending time with his sons and his best Bassett Rosco, fishing, and hunting agates picking at Lake Superior. He will be missed and loved forever. Eric is survived by his two sons, Nicolas and Travis, both of Duluth; his parents, Gene and Sandy Turner of Duluth; his twin sister Marcie (Eric) Hartman of Floyds Knobs, IN; his brother Russell (Mirinda) Turner of Naples, FL; his former wife Heather Turner of Two Harbors; and his companion Rosco. Somewhere on Burnstide Lake, my line rests in the water, I’m at peace – just watching my own bobber. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at a later date this summer. If so desired, memorials directed to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society in Eric’s name would be greatly appreciated.
