The Oba of Benin in Edo State, Oba Ewuare II on Friday visited President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa in Abuja. This was confirmed by State House correspondents who captured the moment the monarch was seen, entering into the villa to meet the president. This was the first time Oba Ewuare II would be visiting Tinibu since his inauguration on May 29, 2023, because the king was not among other traditional rulers that had previously met with the president through the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN).
