Oakland: woman dead after Crash at Fruitvale on-ramp

The fatal crash in Oakland occured at the I-580 Fruitvale Avenue westbound on-ramp when the crash occurred. California Highway Patrol said the truck that she rear-ended, a Chevrolet SUV, was stopped due to heavy traffic.
