NYC jets in near collision at Kennedy Airport; FAA investigating

At around 8:45 p.m. Friday, a Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 headed to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic was on its takeoff roll when a London-bound American Airlines Boeing 777 crossed the runway in front of it, the FAA said. Air traffic controllers noticed the incident, the Delta jet aborted its takeoff.
