Two of the state's largest COVID-19 vaccination centers in Brooklyn and Queens will open Wednesday.
The new sites are located at Brooklyn's Medgar Evers College and York College in Queens. Appointments are available online for those eligible to get a shot, with nearby residents in the boroughs prioritized first.
New Yorkers can check if they are eligible for a shot at the state's Am I Eligible website here. As of Sunday afternoon, thousands of appointments were showing up as available, according to a review of availability by Gothamist.
