Sheriff's deputies arrested in March Garaus Henry, of Lansing, who they said was the driver of a vehicle involved in a high-speed crash that injured four people. Sha-Heem Harris, 21, of Elmira, was the passenger in the other vehicle who was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:50 a.m. accident on Auburn Road.
Henry was initially indicted on three counts of second-degree attempted murder and one count of second-degree aggravated criminal possession of a weapon, according to the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.
A grand jury later also indicted Henry on the additional charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, two counts of second-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment.
