The New York state lawmaker who for years has led the charge on legalizing adult-use cannabis says she’s excited about what lies ahead.
“I know that at the end of the day this will create opportunities for people,” said New York State Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes during a recent online town hall. “That speaks volumes for the future and for the ability to begin creating the kind of access to wealth that can be passed on generationally.”
