Single-tank IMTA system has best bioremediation performance, biomass production at half the operational size as other designs
Results of this study evaluating IMTA designs showed that a single polyculture tank with ragworms and saltwort had the best bioremediation performance and biomass production, while reducing in half the operational area required to implement the IMTA system.
