Number of trans people receiving NHS treatment rises 75% in five years amid national HRT shortage

More than 11,000 Britons are now being treated for gender dysphoria, MailOnline can reveal. Figures also show that about 1,500 trans patients were being prescribed oestrogen in 2021.
