NSW signs deal with Denver to help tech businesses launch in US

The NSW government has signed an agreement with the United States city of Denver to give businesses priority access, free office space and introductions to commercial partners in the Colorado capital.
The government opted for Denver as a burgeoning hub of tech start-up activity and less expensive site for expansion into the US market for Australian businesses than Silicon Valley, California.
NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro signed a virtual agreement with the Mayor of Denver, Colorado, via Zoom. Â

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW, Industry and Trade, John Barilaro, said the agreement was the first of its kind between Denver City and a state government. Denver has similar agreements with cities including London and Toronto.
